2011年2月3日——2月8日(农历大年初一到初六)，以“风情世界精彩朝阳”为主题的第九届北京朝阳国际风情节将在北京朝阳公园举办。此次朝阳国际风情节在保持活动主基调的基础上，更加突出“国际风情”特色展示，同时融入中国传统民俗风情，以独特的国际文化风情展示与国内传统民俗风情相整合的活动特色，为游客带来了精彩纷呈的文化盛宴。并且活动现场布置以“低碳、环保、科技、时尚”理念，通过一系列的文明元素植入、互动环节策划，使得游客们在互动之中感受到家庭的温馨与节日的快乐。
